RESOLUTION NO.00-66
APPROVING CONCEPT PLAN FOR CENTENNIAL PARK &DIRECTING DEVELOPMENT
OF A 28E AGREEMENTWITH THE WAUKEE SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS,the Waukee School District has approached the Waukee Park Board and proposed
revisions to the current configuration of Centennial Park,AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Park Board has reviewed and recommended the revisions proposed by
the School District,AND,
WHEREAS,the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee has also reviewed the proposed changes and
is in support of the reconstruction project,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 19th day
of June,2000 that it hereby endorses the Concept Plan for the proposed revisions to Centennial Park and
directs that a 28E agreement between the School District and City be drafted to outline the
responsibilities of the City and School District relative to the construction and maintenance associated
with the proposed revisions to Centennial Park.
