RESOLUTION ASSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF LOUIS BROCKMAN
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized municipal
corporation;and
WHEREAS,there has been presented to the Waukee City Conncil of said City ao Application for
Annexation,as required by Section 368.7,Code ofIowa,as amended,executed by Louis Brockmao the
owner of the real estate to be annexed;aod
WHEREAS,said real estate lying adjacent to the existing City Limits of the City of Waukee,Iowa;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to annex said territory upon the Application heretofore
presented;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee bestows upon the annexed property an imposition of taxes as provided
in Section 368.11,subsection 13 of the Iowa Code.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa as
follows:

That the Application for Annexation of the Louis Brockman Property as described in
Exhibit "A"attached hereto is hereby approved.
That upon acknowledgement by the City Development Board of the Clerk's filing of the
map and this Resolution on the 13th day of July 2000 this territory shall thereafter be aod
become a part of the City of Waukee.
That the City Clerk of Waukee shall forthwith cause this Resolution and the map exhibit
attached hereto be filed with the City Development Board aud other filings as required by
Section 368.7,Code of Iowa,as amended.

Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 3'dDay of July,2000.
