CHANGING THE NAME OF WALNUT STREET EAST OF ALICE'S ROAD TO
WESTBROOK DRIVE
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is considering revisions to several street names in an
effort to improve emergency response to properties,AND,
WHEREAS,changing some of the existing street names would also improve the public's
ability to locate streets more easily,AND,
WHEREAS,several new businesses are considering leasing property on the Walnut
Street east of Alice's Road and are concemed that a street name change in the future
would make their business documents obsolete,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council in session this
4th day of April,2001 that it hereby changes the street name for Walnut Street east of
Alice's Road to Westbrook Drive.
