RESOLUTION NO.01-73
APPROVING DENMAN &COMPANY AS CITY AUDITORS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City needs to name an audit finn for the fiscal years 2001,2002,and
2003,AND,
WHEREAS,the City sent out Audit RFPs to nineteen audit firms,AND,
WHEREAS,the City received two proposals,one from the State Auditors,and one from
Denman &Company,AND,
WHEREAS,Denman &Company had the lowest bid,AND,
WHEREAS,the City is willing to accept the engagement letter from Denman &
Company as the City's auditors for the years ending June 30th,2001,2002 &2003.,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council in session this
7th day of May,that it hereby approves the appointment of Denman &Company as the
City's Audit finn for fiscal years 2001,2002 and 2003.
