RESOLUTION 09-131
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 16-FOOT TRAILER AND HYDRAULIC
TAMPER FROM MIDWEST UNDERGROUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,300.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the
replacement of an existing trailer,as well as the purchase of a hydraulic tamper to allow
restoration of yards after being disturbed in order to minimally impact property owners
within the city;AND,
WHEREAS,the City received a bid from Midwest Underground for a 16-foot trailer and
hydraulic tamper from Midwest Underground in the amount of $16,300.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase price is budgeted within the Gas Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 15th day of June 2009 that it hereby approves the purchase of a 16-foot trailer
and hydraulic tamper from Midwest Underground in the amount of $16,300.00.
