RESOLUTION 03-35
APPROVING THE CITY OF WAUKEE'S PARTICIPATION IN THE
ELECTRIC FEASIBILITY STUDY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee will spend $6,563 for Latham and Associates to
perform a Feasibility Study;AND,
WHEREAS,the outcome of this study will assist the City of Waukee in the decision
making process of whether or not it is feasible for the City to own and operate a Electric
Municipal Utility;AND,
WHEREAS,the City feels that they owe it to the citizens of Waukee to review the
possibility of providing them with a cheaper rate than what Mid-American Energy can
provide,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that the City of Waukee's participation in the Electric Feasibility Study be
approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the lih day of
February 2003.
