RESOLUTION 03-49
APPROVING APPLICATION FOR LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION
FUND (LWCF)FUNDING RELATED TO THE COPELAND PROPERTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is committed to providing its residents with park and
recreation opportunities;AND,
WHEREAS,the City is working to provide for park facilities on the Copeland Property;
AND,
WHEREAS,the costs of providing for the city's recreation needs demand the
consideration of outside funding sources.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 3rd day of March 2003 that it hereby approves an application for Land and
Water Conservation Fund (LWCF)funding to be used in connection with the Copeland
Property.
