RESOLUTION 03-70
APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF
JEFF MERTZ TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE AS
REPLACEMENT FOR NANCY HORSCH
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Nancy Horsch who has served the City of Waukee as a member of the
Community Development Committee since January 2002 has resigned the position;
AND,
WHEREAS,Jeff Mertz has been appointed by Mayor Pro Tem Peard to replace Ms.
Horsch on the Community Development Committee;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.Mertz will bring a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to his role on the
committee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of March 2003 that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointment of
Jeff Mertz to the Community Development Committee as replacement for Nancy Horsch.
