FOURTH STREETCUL-DE-SAC
ENGINEERING SERVICES
In accordance with your request,Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.is pleased to submit this proposal
for the design of the Fourth Street cul-de-sac.The project involves the construction of
concrete pavement for a cul-de-sac at the south end of Fourth Street that presently has a
gravel turnaround area.
The scope of services offered in this proposal will include,but not necessarily be limited to
the following:
1.Prepare plans and specifications and prepare bidding documents to allow award of
contract by the City for construction during fall 2001.
2.Process partial payment estimates and certify the project to be complete for
acceptance by the City.
The City will provide resident review services.Construction staking will be included as a
work item provided by the Contractor.
The fee for the services described above will be $3,500.
The fee will be due and payable on a monthly basis,prorated on work completed.

This letter may be made an agreement upon acceptance by the City by affixing the proper
signatures and date in the spaces below and returning one copy to us.
The undersigned do hereby covenant and state that this instrument is executed in duplicate
as though each were an original,and that there are no oral agreements that have not been
reduced to writing in this instrument.It is further covenanted and stated that there are no
other considerations or monies contingent upon or resulting from the execution of this
instrument,nor have any of the above been implied by or for any part to this agreement.
